League and Two Maine Credit Unions Honored with CUNA National Awards
Maine continues to be recognized on the national level for credit union service. CUNA announced the recipients of their Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award, Louise Herring Philosophy-in-Action Member Service Award, and Desjardins Awards for Financial Education. The League, Changing Seasons FCU, and Community CU all received honors.
Registration Is Open for the CU FinHealth™ Conference
The National Credit Union Foundation has officially opened registration for the CU FinHealth™ Conference, taking place April 18-20, 2023, in Las Vegas. Now in its seventh year, CU FinHealth brings industry leaders together to examine how credit unions are measuring financial health, working to strengthen it, and sharing the results.
New Employees Join the Insurance Trust Team
The Insurance Trust is pleased to announce it has hired three new employees to join their team. Benjamin Roberts, Liz Stevens, and Alex York will fill lending support, compliance, and training roles.

NCUA Chairman Harper Testifies on State of the Credit Union Industry at Senate Hearing
On Monday, NCUA Chairman Todd M. Harper, along with other financial regulatory agency principals, testified at a hearing before the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs. Harper provided the Committee with a state of the credit union system and noted the factors that will affect its performance in 2023.

As a reminder, Hannaford is donating $1 to the Campaign for each $2.50 reusable Fight Hunger Bag purchased at its Brewer store this month.
