It’s not too late! The League is still collecting items for our online auction to benefit the Campaign for Ending Hunger. The auction will go live May 1 and run through May 19, in conjunction with the League’s Convention and the Ending Hunger Golf Tournament. All donations will help the Campaign reach its $1 million fundraising goal—a goal we know we can meet with the assistance of your credit union.
Popular items include gift cards, restaurant gift certificates, tickets to sporting events/concerts, small electronics, and amusement park passes. All auction items will be on display at Convention on May 19.
If your credit union has already donated or is unable to send something in, we encourage you to reach to local businesses and/or credit union volunteers who may have gift cards, passes, or locally sourced/crafted items to donate. One of the best aspects of our auction is the unique items we have up for bid.
Please complete our convenient online donation form and forward your auction item(s) to the League by Friday, April 23, 2023. Completing the form is important for our recordkeeping, and it helps the League prepare the auction website.

If you are unable to send your item(s) by this deadline, or if you would prefer to bring it with you to Convention, you can email a photograph of the item instead to Lauren McCallum at lmccallum@mainecul.org.
All auction items will be on display from 9:00 am – 2:30 pm at the League’s Convention on May 19 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay. Online bidding will conclude at 2:30 pm and items will be available for pick-up after 3:00 pm.
Golf Tournament
We still have several sponsorship opportunities available for our Ending Hunger Convention Golf Tournament—two of which include a golf foursome! While foursomes not associated with sponsorships have sold out, purchasing one of the two remaining Own-A-Hole sponsorships is a great way to show your support for the Campaign and secure a team on the greens for a day of golfing fun.
