Fall YPN Networking Event & Cornhole Tournament

Are you a young professional at a Maine credit union? Join your like-minded peers from across the state for an afternoon of learning, networking, and fun! The Young Professionals Network (YPN) will be hosting an event at the Credit Union Service Center on Thursday, November 7. This event will serve as a forum for YPs to get together as a group to connect, expand their professional and social circles, and discuss the importance of building a career right here in Maine.

Live & Work in Maine also will be participating and will address the benefits of staying in Maine to pursue a career, as well as the opportunities available to the state’s younger workforce. They will share succession planning challenges and how members of the Network can rise to the occasion, filling leadership roles.

Following the presentation, the YPN will wrap up the afternoon with some networking activities and a cornhole tournament! YPs will be paired up with another YP at random to encourage everyone to build relationships and network. The best part: the winning team will walk away with a special prize!

If the weather is nice, we will play outside. If it’s too chilly, we have a large indoor space to host the tournament.

The event will take place at 2 Ledgeview Drive in Westbrook from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. The cost to attend is $50.
