This event will be open to any Maine credit union employee at no cost. Registrants may be placed on a waiting list if the number of individuals interested in attending is greater than the number of seats available. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Speakers and Topics:
Lee Silber – Generation We: Reaching and Teaching Each Generation
Each generation learns differently and has divergent goals. This program addresses the best ways to reach and teach each generation about financial literacy with specific tips and techniques. With an emphasis on Gen-Y and Gen-Z, we’ll look at best practices for each individual generation and discuss what works for all generations. This is a lively, fun, and activity-filled program with unique ideas and information attendees can use right away for improved results.
Juli Lewis, CUDE, CMPFinCap, CCUFC, CCUE – Getting Them to Show Up Is Half the Battle…Win It!
We know that financial education isn’t the most exciting topic and can even be a little intimidating. Join us for an open discussion on the challenges we all face in getting people to our workshops. This 30-year credit union veteran has not only been in the trenches but has also worked with credit unions all over the U.S. to make the blood, sweat, and tears we put into our sessions have an equal return. You’ll take away best practices on how to market your workshops, who to market them to, and where to best-reach your target audience.
In addition to hearing from the speakers, there will be ample time to network, exchange ideas, and discuss outreach opportunities. If you have any questions, email Jake Holmes, or call 207-773-5671, ext. 266.
