Vice President of Lending:

The VP of Lending is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing the activities of the Mortgage, Indirect, and Online Lending Departments. They also collaborate with other leadership team members to develop and execute a business plan for mortgage and consumer loan origination while providing strategic focus, expertise, and guidance for lenders across the organization.


Maine State CU is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dynamic leader to lead our lenders. Candidates should have a proven track record supervising, coaching, and motivating others to achieve goals in a financial services environment. Candidates must demonstrate extraordinary initiative and a passion for servicing consumers’ needs within a positive, people-focused culture. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are a must, along with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently and confidentially in a professional manner. Experience with lending is required. A Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of progressive experience in banking leadership and lending is required with proven results in a solutions-focused sales and service environment.
