Vice President of Lending


The County FCU is hiring a Vice President of Lending at its Caribou location.

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the credit union’s lending services and direct oversight of the credit union’s loan portfolio performance, including mortgage and real estate loans, consumer loans, indirect lending, credit cards, business loan services, collections, and ancillary loan related member insurance products. Ensures lending operations are managed per federal and state regulations and established policies and procedures. Participates in loan processing and underwrites, recommends, and books all types of loans. Analyzes and evaluates the effectiveness of lending services. Supervises and appraises the activities of subordinate managers and ensures that all services are professionally delivered and members are well served.

Previous real estate or financial institution experience is desirable and you should have above-average typing and computer skills. Must have excellent organizational as well as oral and written communication skills. Ability to operate various computer applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office products.
