Central Maine FCU is hiring a Teller at its Lewiston location.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Teller will consistently perform transactions for members in an efficient, accurate and timely manner, demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of credit union procedures, products and services and work as part of the team to accomplish goals of the department and credit union. This position requires strong cash management skills, retail math proficiency, and a commitment to maintain high standards of service.
Job Duties:
- Receiving and processing member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders to members; transfer amounts from member accounts as directed.
- Posts transactions to member accounts and maintains member records.
- Cross sells credit union services
- Balances cash drawer and daily transactions
- Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
One year of similar or related experience is preferred. Must have good communication skills, 10-key calculator and computer keyboard skills. Accurate with numbers and names and above all possess a friendly, positive can-do attitude.
