Description:

This role will support the Loan Servicing Manager and the team in driving daily operations and fostering technical growth within a highly efficient, knowledgeable, and member-focused team. Stay at the forefront of Loan Servicing expertise by collaborating with the team to discover efficient methods and best practices. We champion a culture of continuous, timely feedback, open communication, and innovative solutions to support personal growth and performance improvement. You’ll provide essential daily guidance, training, and support, all while gaining a comprehensive understanding of the entire department. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring the efficient daily operations of the Loan Servicing department by thoroughly understanding every aspect of the department. As the department leader, they will provide constructive feedback, engage in shadowing and cross-training, and support all roles within the department while proposing ideas to enhance efficiency. They will help maintain a collaborative and supportive environment and ensure effective communication with members, support departments, and branches. Additionally, they will oversee all procedures, including an annual review with role-specific experts, and will update, organize, and test these procedures as necessary. They will ensure that all resources are consistently updated and accurate for all staff members.
  • Maintain the highest level of clear, and consistent communication with all staff. As a department leader, they will identify topics that need additional training to support retail staff and work with role specialists and collaborate, as necessary. Develop relationships & handle processes with/for our vendors and partners, as necessary.
  • Reports inconsistencies to appropriate parties within established timelines. Follows established service standards to meet and/or exceed internal and external member service. Incorporates the use of quality communication skills and probing questions, along with active listening routines to ensure quality service. Provides direct support to the entire team by recognizing and prioritizing team objectives/tasks.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years’ experience with customer service, loan or financial services.
  • Prior experience in banking/credit unions a plus.
  • Superior written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite products.
