Do You Want to Help Shape the Future of the Maine Credit Union Industry?

After coming off a highly successful Young Professionals Network (YPN) event earlier this month, the League is looking to keep the momentum going. We need your help! Please consider joining the YPN Advisory Group.

The YPN Advisory Group is responsible for the development of strategies that will assist credit unions in both recruiting young adults as employees and volunteers, and developing and promoting young adults into positions of leadership within the credit union community. Advisory group members will work together to brainstorm future meeting topics, speakers, meet-ups, and more!

Are you interested in joining the YPN Advisory Group? If so, send an email to Jake Holmes, the League’s YPN liaison. Members of the group will be added on a first-come, first serve basis, so act fast!

“By being a member of the YPN Advisory Group, you’d be helping young credit union staff from across the state grow their social capital,” said Jake Holmes, League Financial Literacy Outreach Coordinator. “YPs learn about ways to advance their careers through not only training and educational opportunities, but by connecting with their peers. We want your help in bringing our future industry leaders together.”

About the YPN

The YPN is an open group for Maine credit union staff and volunteers, ages 21 to 40, that focuses on providing professional development, networking, and educational opportunities, as well as resources to help YPs grow and strengthen the credit union industry. For more information or to join the network, please review the YPN Program Overview and the Registration Form.
