Time Is Running Out! Just Under One Week Left to Accept Our Ending Hunger Challenge

We are in the homestretch of our October $100,000 Ending Hunger Challenge and it will come down to the wire to hit our collective goal by October 31. Currently, over $90,000 has been raised thanks to pledges from 21 credit unions and donations from trusted partners like Tricorp FCU, TruStage™, and CU Insurance Solutions. League, Synergent, and credit union employees and members have donated as well. Now is the perfect time to lend your support and have your name and/or credit union added to our Contributor’s page.

Proceeds from the Challenge will be directed to Good Shepherd Food Bank and hunger-relief initiatives across the state. New this year, we also are raising funds to help Special Olympics Maine launch a new backpack pilot program to assist athletes who are food insecure. So far, over $7,450 has been dedicated to this initiative—a number we hope will grow by October 31.
