Save the Date! Next Casual Dress for CULAC dates announced

"Spring into March for CULAC," is the theme of the next Casual Dress Week, coordinated by the Maine CU League in support of raising funds for CULAC.  Elise Baldacci, Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the League, said, "We are promoting it as early as possible because, with 2018 being an Election year, every opportunity to raise funds for CULAC takes on added importance."  The Spring into March for CULAC Casual Dress Week will take place February 26-March 2.

Baldacci said posters and sign-up sheets are in the process of being sent to all Maine CUs.  "We are encouraging all of our credit unions to consider participating, because our Dress Down Weeks are an effective way to get staff involved and contributing to CULAC without a lot of work.  In addition to raising funds for CULAC, this is also an opportunity to raise awareness about CULAC and how critical it is to have enough money to support candidates that support credit unions."

The League's Political Involvement Committee has not yet set the 2018 fundraising goal for CULAC but is coming off a record-setting year for CULAC fundraising, with more than $103,000 raised in 2017 for CULAC and Maine CULAC.
