Now accepting nominations for League's Annual Awards

Creating connections with great people is a hallmark of the Maine CU System.  Your League has a chance right now to nominate someone who you believe is exceptional and has made significant contributions to their credit union, the Maine CU System, and/or their community.  Nominations for the 2018 Maine CU League's Annual Awards are now being accepted.

"The Awards are about recognizing some of the individuals who make a difference, and we are fortunate that we have many within Maine's credit unions that do so not for recognition but 'just because'.  Nominating someone will let them know that what they do is worthy of recognition.  I hope many people take the time to submit nominations this year," explained Cheryl Lancaster, EVP of Member Services for the Maine CU League.

Nominations are now being accepted through Friday, March 30, for the following awards:

Alexander Ferguson Award for Outstanding CU Volunteer - presented to an individual who serves as a credit union volunteer, who has demonstrated leadership, commitment and dedication to their credit union.

James M. Gratto Award for Outstanding CU CEO - presented to a Maine credit union CEO who inspires, leads and encourages their staff through their actions, personality and/or style.

Jeannette G. Morin Award for Oustanding CU Employee - presented annually to a credit union employee who goes above and beyond for their credit union and their members.

Diane L. Oceretko 'People Helping People' Award - awarded to an individual who lives and breathes helping others through social responsibility and community service.
