We know fraud is increasing and impacting members every day. We also know how hard credit unions are working to educate their members about scams and threats to prevent losses. To help, the League has created a Fraud Prevention Resources page on its website for our member credit unions. We have also added a new member-facing Fraud Prevention Hub on MaineCreditUnions.org.
On the new page, visitors will find tips, articles, and videos, but members aren’t the only ones who can benefit from this page. Credit unions also can use any of the materials uploaded on the site for their own awareness efforts.
The League will continue updating the pages on both websites with relevant and timely content. If you have a suggestion for a collateral resource that would amplify your credit union’s awareness efforts, please email Jen Burke at jburke@mainecul.org.
