Maine State CU Gives Back at Ending Hunger Breakfast

Maine State CU raised an incredible $86,735 in Ending Hunger funds last year to help feed their community, and on April 3, the credit union disbursed those funds to local nonprofits. At its Ending Hunger breakfast, nearly 30 organizations received a donation from the credit union. Maine State CU also mailed checks of support to those who were unable to join them in-person at the special event.

“It is wonderful to make people feel special and honored for who they are and the work they do as volunteers in our communities,” shared Stacey Dow, Maine State CU’s Executive Do-Gooder & Social Responsibility Chair. “You really could see and feel the gratitude in the room. Many expressed feeling truly blessed by the work that is done by the caring people of Maine State CU, and after hearing their stories, I know the credit union group feels the same way about them.”
