Let’s Get Digital! Digital marketing is the topic of this spring’s Maine CU Marketing Council workshop

Online has changed the face of marketing so learning how best to maximize and leverage digital marketing is a must in today’s world. On Thursday, April 26, the Maine CU Marketing Council will present its Spring Workshop on Digital Marketing at the Press Hotel in Portland.

Join speaker James Robert Lay, CEO of the Digital Growth Institute, who will equip attendees with the tools they need to “jumpstart their digital marketing journey.” As Lay will share, digital continues to change the way people shop for and buy financial services. In fact, 81% of consumers start researching banking products before making a purchase decision. And because of these changes, it’s imperative for credit unions to remain relevant for today's digital consumer to attract, nurture, and convert leads for loans and new accounts.

Legacy marketing systems and outdated processes can be problematic for many financial institutions. But it doesn’t have to be that way for your credit union. A digital growth blueprint can provide you with clarity and focus while empowering you to escape the fear, confusion, and conflict that holds us back from maximizing our digital growth potential. You will leave this session inspired by the new insights that you will gain with a proven digital marketing framework.

The conference fee of $209 includes a continental breakfast and catered lunch. Credit unions must pay 2018 Council Dues of $150 per credit union to attend. Space is limited and interested marketers are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Attendees are also invited to join the Marketing Council for dinner at Union on Wednesday, April 25, at 6 p.m. Contact Megan Bagdasarian to RSVP for the dinner.
