On Wednesday, January 3, lawmakers returned to Augusta to begin the second regular session of the 131st Legislature. This short session is scheduled to adjourn April 17.
The League will be monitoring several areas of interest to credit unions, including privacy legislation, which has already had regular work sessions. The League also has submitted a state charter update. This change would make minor technical adjustments to increase parity for state and federal credit unions.
