Each year, when credit unions come together at the League Convention, representatives of our People Helping People movement are honored with special awards to recognize their unique contributions to the credit union system. With Convention taking place in less than four months, the League has opened the nomination period for this year’s awards program.
If you know someone who is deserving of a League award, submit a nomination anytime between now and March 17. Honoring an individual with a nomination is a great way to thank them for the time they devote to uplifting their communities and strengthening the credit union movement in Maine.
Award categories include:
- James M. Gratto Award – Outstanding Credit Union CEO
- Jeannette G. Morin Award – Outstanding Credit Union Employee
- Alexander Ferguson Award – Outstanding Credit Union Volunteer
- Diane L. Oceretko – Recognizing Community and Volunteer Service
Stay tuned for a special announcement in next week’s edition of Weekly Update regarding a new award we will be adding to our prestigious program. For nomination forms and more details, please visit the League’s website.
