Strong attendance and even stronger ratings for the sessions highlighted two successful IRA trainings this past week. Both trainings were held at The Senator Inn in Augusta. Both sessions, IRA Essentials and Advanced IRA, were led by instructor Carrie Horn from Ascensus, who scored nearly perfect scores for both days from the forty-plus CU staff members in attendance.
In the first session, Horn covered the basics providing attendees with a solid foundation of IRA knowledge. Day 2 got more advanced for attendees as it built upon the basic IRA knowledge and addressed more complex issues that the credit union may handle.
Attendees found both sessions filled with valuable information, and time well spent. One remarked, "Great presenter who provided lots of real world examples. She is awesome." Another added, "Carrie did an amazing job teaching. She made it very easy to learn by interacting with us and keeping us interested the whole time."
