Spring is in the air and plans are well underway for the League’s annual Convention, taking place May 13-14 at the Holiday Inn By the Bay. As part of the festivities, the League will be hosting an online auction to benefit Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger. Credit unions can support the auction and the Campaign by donating an auction item. Popular items include gift cards, restaurant gift certificates, tickets to sporting events/concerts, electronics, and amusement park passes.
If your credit union hasn’t already donated an item and would like to provide one to the auction, please complete our convenient online donation form and forward your auction item to the League by Friday, April 15. Completing the online donation form is important for our recordkeeping and it helps the League prepare the auction website, which goes live on May 1. Auction items can be mailed to:

Because the bidding occurs online, you can email a photograph of your auction item to Lauren McCallum at lmccallum@mainecul.org if you are unable to mail the item to the League by the mid-April deadline, or if you prefer to bring the item with you to Convention. For those credit union employees who are planning to attend the Convention, auction items will be on display from 9:00 am until 2:45 pm on Friday, May 13.
Ending Hunger Convention Golf Tournament
The League is still accepting sponsorships for the Ending Hunger Convention Golf Tournament. Sponsoring the tournament is a great way to show your support for the Campaign at a popular event that brings together our credit union family for some fun on the greens.
