Cumberland County FCU to Host Fifth Annual Bag Toss Tournament to End Hunger


Cumberland County FCU is tossing food insecurity out of Maine with the return of its Bag Toss Tournament to End Hunger in Maine! The fifth annual event is returning this fall and will be held on October 24 at Keeley’s Banquet Center, located at 178 Warren Ave in Portland. A maximum of 24 two-person teams will be accepted into the tournament. A team of two can register for $150, or a single player can register and be placed on a team for $75.

Registration for the event will begin at 2:30 pm and the fun will kick off at 3:30 pm. In addition to single elimination cornhole play, the credit union will offer food, door prizes, a Pick a Bottle table, raffles, and a cash bar. Raffle winners will be announced at 6:30 pm and awards will be presented at the culmination of the event. All proceeds will be directed to Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger.
