Cumberland County FCU is pleased to announce it raised $8,854 at its Fifth Annual Bag Toss Tournament held at Keeley’s Banquet Center in Portland last month. In addition to raising critical funds to support Maine credit unions’ signature social responsibility initiative, the Campaign for Ending Hunger, the event also delivered bragging rights for some of the participants.

The credit union extends its congratulations to first place finishers Sean and Danielle from Saco Valley CU, and Mark and Tucker from TruChoice FCU, who earned the coveted second place spot. Additionally, Cumberland County FCU would like to thank their many sponsors for supporting this special fundraiser—especially the following signature sponsors:

  • Risbara Brothers, Evergreen CU, and TriCorp FCU – Tournament Sponsors
  • Old Republic Title – Bracket Sponsor
  • Jackson & McNichol – Food Sponsor
  • Mazzone Marketing – Bottle Table Sponsor

“Hunger is an epidemic that affects too many people in our communities,” said Ryan Grund, CFO at Cumberland County FCU. “We can’t thank our sponsors and teams enough for their support.”
