Evelyn Desmond, who served as a volunteer with Five County CU for four decades, passed away last weekend at the age of 93. Desmond, who received the Maine CU League's Alexander Ferguson Award for Outstanding CU Volunteer in 1994, served as an Honorary Board member in recent years after stepping down as a volunteer.
"Evelyn was a beloved member of our family and well-known and respected throughout the Maine CU System. She will be deeply missed, and we send our thoughts and prayers to her family at this difficult time," said Julie Marquis, President/CEO at Five County CU.
