CLYNK to Help End Hunger

We are always looking for ways to support the Campaign for Ending Hunger!

Earlier this year, the Campaign partnered with CLYNK to Give to expand our fundraising efforts and put our redeemable bottles and cans to work for our signature social responsibility initiative. If your credit union is looking for a new way to recycle your beverage containers, consider using CLYNK if you aren’t already taking advantage of this simple service with big benefits!

What Is CLYNK to Give

CLYNK to Give is a year-round bottle collection drive that allows participants to support their favorite charities by donating the proceeds of their CLYNK rebate to a charity of choice—in this case, the Campaign for Ending Hunger.

How to Participate

If you would like to collect bottles at your credit union and participate in this fundraising effort, please contact Lauren McCallum, League Corporate Marketing Coordinator, by phone at 207.773.5671 ext. 388 or email at lmccallum@mainecul.com.

Returning a bag of bottles is quick and easy. Make sure the bag is full—not overstuffed—of empty bottles and cans with their labels still intact. Find a Hannaford location near you with a CLYNK kiosk, scan each bag, and drop them off!

When participating, it is important to only use the bags and bag tags the Campaign for Ending Hunger provides to ensure the donation is accepted and directed to the Campaign.

Dollars Raised

The dollars generated through this effort will be allocated entirely to the Campaign for Ending Hunger’s General Fund. Contributions to this fund are used to support statewide efforts and grants to organizations like Good Shepherd Food Bank and Full Plates Full Potential.

Already CLYNKING?

If your credit union already has a CLYNK account, you can easily donate funds to the Campaign for Ending Hunger. Visit the “Give” page on CLYNK’s website or view this quick video to learn how to transfer your funds to the Campaign’s account. Your members can donate this way as well!

Questions

We hope your credit union will join us and recycle your bottles to benefit the Campaign. Please email Lauren McCallum at the League if you have questions about participating in this program.
