Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger has been selected to be a part of Hannaford’s Fight Hunger bag program. The Campaign will receive a $1 donation for every $2.50 Fight Hunger Bag sold at Hannaford Supermarket’s Bangor location on Broadway Street during the month of October.
If your credit union has a branch near this store, located at 653 Broadway Street, please consider encouraging your staff, volunteers, and members to take part in this unique fundraiser. The Broadway Street store is the only location where a Fight Hunger bag purchase will benefit the Campaign for Ending Hunger. All funds raised will be directed to the Campaign’s general account.
Hannaford has created a variety of promotional materials credit unions can use to help advertise this fundraiser, including:
- Sample email messaging templates to share with staff/volunteers/members (this messaging can also be used to develop social media posts)
- Social media graphic for Facebook/LinkedIn
- Social media graphic for Twitter
- Printable flyer (prints on a standard 8.5” X 11” piece of paper)
