And That’s a Wrap!

As the 2024-2025 school year winds down, it’s hard to believe how quickly the time has flown—and what a remarkable year it has been for Financial Fitness Fairs. Chapters across Maine came together to bring our innovative money management experience to high schools from York to Aroostook County—even the Long Creek Youth Development Center.

“The resurgence of our Financial Fitness Fairs is truly remarkable,” said Jake Holmes, League Director of Outreach & Strategic Planning. “Thanks to Maine’s vibrant chapter system, students in every corner of our state benefited from this insightful, hands-on experience. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together this year.”

From October through the last day of April, 22 fairs were conducted reaching over 3,300 young adults. Since the program’s inception in 2004, approximately 83,000 students have experienced our award-winning budget simulation.

“I’m already working with several chapters to get Fairs scheduled for the fall,” added Holmes. “Now’s the time to start thinking ahead. Let’s build on this year’s momentum and make 2025-2026 our most impactful year yet!”
