Ancorum CU is proud to announce the promotions of two dedicated and highly respected employees, Kelly Fairfield and Nicole Hemedinger, whose leadership, commitment, and service excellence continue to strengthen the organization and the communities it serves.

Kelly Fairfield
Fairfield has been promoted to Vice President of Marketing. CEO Julie Marquis shared, “For more than 14 years, Kelly has led our marketing strategies with vision and purpose. She has been instrumental in launching products, services, and promotional initiatives that have driven meaningful success for the credit union. Kelly continues to be a key contributor to the strength and visibility of the Ancorum brand.”
Fairfield joined the credit union in 2011 as Marketing Director—when it was known as Five County CU—and most recently served as Assistant Vice President of Marketing. Throughout her tenure, the impact of the marketing function has continued to expand, significantly increasing brand awareness and member engagement. Over the past two years, she played an instrumental role in helping lead Ancorum CU’s successful, three‑time Diamond Award‑winning rebranding effort.
Fairfield is a graduate of Lyndon State College, is a Certified Credit Union Marketing Executive (CUCME), has attended America’s Credit Unions Management & Leadership Institute, and is currently a participant in Ancorum CU’s Executive Leadership Development Cohort program.

Nicole Hemedinger
Hemedinger has been promoted to Branch Manager of Ancorum CU’s Brunswick location. She joined the credit union in 2018 as a teller and was later promoted to a lending position in 2023. Over the years, she has worked across multiple locations, gaining a broad and well‑rounded understanding of operations and member service.
In every role she has held, Hemedinger has taken the time to fully develop her skills, build confidence, and deepen her expertise before stepping into her next opportunity. She approaches every interaction with a people‑first mindset, truly embodying the credit union philosophy of People Helping People.
Her hard work and dedication have been invaluable to the organization. Leadership is defined by action, and she has long demonstrated that a formal title is not required to make a meaningful impact. Hemedinger leads by example, supports her colleagues, and consistently uplifts those around her.
In addition to her daily contributions, Hemedinger has played a vital role on Ancorum CU’s charity committee, reflecting her passion for giving back and strengthening the communities the credit union serves. She is currently a member of the 3rd Individual Contributor Cohort of Ancorum CU’s Leadership Development Program.
