2021 Ending Hunger Golf Tournament Recap

On August 18, thirty-four teams gathered at the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club to enjoy a fun day on the greens for a worthy cause. Despite the humidity and a brief late-day shower, the 2021 Ending Hunger Golf Tournament was a big success!

Each year, in conjunction with the annual Convention, the League hosts its Ending Hunger Golf Tournament. This year’s event looked different than it has in the past due to the course’s COVID-19 restrictions, but it didn’t diminish the teams’ enthusiasm or their competitive spirit!

“It was wonderful to see our credit union family come together in support of the Campaign for Ending Hunger,” said Jen Burke, League Public Affairs and Communications Manager. “I know this is an event people look forward to each year and I’m grateful we had the opportunity to safely gather. In many ways, it was a long overdue reunion.”

Some golfers earned bragging rights for securing the Longest Drive or Closest to the Pin distinctions. Those participants include:
