FinCEN Warns About ‘Surge’ in Check Fraud Schemes Targeting U.S. Mail
The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) has issued an alert to financial institutions on what it said is a nationwide surge in check fraud schemes targeting the U.S. Mail. According to FinCEN, criminals have been increasingly targeting the U.S. Mail and United States Postal Service mail carriers since the COVID-19 pandemic to commit check fraud.
Credit Union Marketing Council Sets April Date for In-Person Workshop
The Maine Credit Union Marketing Council will be hosting an in-person, half-day workshop on April 4, from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm at the Credit Union Service Center in Westbrook. Jeff Rendel, President of Rising Above Enterprises, and John Paglio, Digital Marketing Manager at flyte new media, will facilitate sessions covering the evolution of marketing and a deeper dive into GA4.
