Atlantic FCU Foundation Accepting Applications for College Scholarships
The 2022 Atlantic FCU Foundation College Scholarship program is now accepting applications. A total of $20,000 worth of scholarships will be awarded to members who are graduating high school this spring and have plans to continue their education.

COVID Annual Meeting Flexibility For 2022
Joanne Black, Supervisory Examiner with the NCUA and Lloyd LaFountain, Superintendent at the Maine Bureau of Financial Institutions, joined the League at a January Town Hall to provide a regulatory update. During the discussion, the topic of ongoing annual meeting flexibility was raised as a concern. To provide further clarity on the matter, Black recently provided the League with a copy of the NCUA’s 2022 Meeting Flexibility Letter and an FAQ relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.

NorState FCU Accepting Scholarship Applications
NorState FCU is pleased to announce it is now accepting applications for its 2022 scholarship program. The credit union will be selecting six high school seniors to each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Awards will be provided to the chosen students in June.
Purchase a Bloomin' 4 Good Bouquet and Help Us End Hunger
Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger has been selected to be a part of the Hannaford Bloomin’ 4 Good program. The Campaign will receive a $1 donation for every $12 Bloomin’ 4 Good bouquet sold at Hannaford Supermarket’s Brewer location during the month of March. If your credit union has a branch near the Brewer store, you can encourage your staff, volunteers, and members to take part in this unique fundraiser.
