Why should you attend the 2018 CUNA GAC? A few reasons are Maine's Congressional Delegation, CU colleagues from Maine and across the country, and powerful grassroots message

How do you follow-up the largest attendance ever from Maine at the 2017 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference?  Send an even bigger group to the 2018 event.  Registration has begun to join the Maine Credit Union League in Washington, D.C., from February 25-March 1, for the 2018 Credit Union National Association's (CUNA) Governmental Affairs Conference.  CU leaders, volunteers and staff are all encouraged to attend.

Though the line-up of keynote speakers has not been announced, rest assured that it will once again feature political pundits, leaders and other well-known speakers.  Some speakers in recent years have included Tom Brokaw, Colin Powell, Ted Koppel, Tony Blair and a host of others.

In addition to the national conference, the Maine CU League will again host an event (usually a breakfast or luncheon) on Capitol Hill for each member of Maine's Congressional Delegation to address the group.  Having strong attendance sends a powerful message to the Delegation about the level of involvement and engagement by Maine credit unions.

A block of rooms for attendees from Maine have been reserved at The Renaissance Hotel, across the street from the Washington Convention Center, where the Conference is held.  Reserve a room(s) before they're gone.
