CUNA’s Technology Council: Where technology and CUs click!

There are a number of great resources for credit union leaders, staff and officials to access when it comes to technology issues, questions and discussions.  One of the best is within the CU System – the CUNA Technology Council, one of seven Councils that are open to Maine CU representatives to join.

The CUNA Technology Council includes events, online discussion forums, timely articles and more.  There are also plenty of opportunities for CU professionals to network and access other resources that are so important in today’s technologically-focused world.

Rachel Laprell, Information Systems Manager at Bangor FCU, is one of several Maine CU professionals that are members of the Technology Council.  Of the Council’s benefits, Laprell said, “The CUNA Technology Council offers access to a network of credit union professionals across the country.  I follow the List Serve to find out how other credit unions are doing things, share policies and procedures, and to get feedback from others on vendors or products that we may be considering.  The CUNA Technology Council Conference is always very well done and provides information on the latest technology offerings as well as networking with vendors and others in the credit union world.”
