Northeast Credit Union Leagues Collaborate to Deliver Volunteer Education

In the spirit of cooperation, credit union leagues in the Northeast came together to create a timely, online training session designed to help credit union volunteers create a post-COVID strategy for their institutions. The webinar, The Way Forward: Post-Pandemic Strategies for Your Credit Union, will take place on June 29 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm. The event is being offered thanks to the collaborative efforts of the Cooperative Credit Union Association, New York Credit Union Association, Association of Vermont Credit Unions, CrossState Credit Union Association, Credit Union League of Connecticut, and the Maine Credit Union League.

The event will feature renowned credit union consultant, Ancin Cooley, Founder and Principal of Synergy Credit Union Consulting, and offer participants a practical roadmap for knowing when to lead, when to partner, and when to stay out of the way when implementing post-COVID strategies.

Credit unions who wish to register volunteers and staff may do so through their respective league websites.

In a joint statement, presidents representing the Northeast credit union leagues shared, “Cooperation is in our DNA. We have a long history of sharing best practices and working together across the region. Taking the step to deliver critical volunteer education not only makes sense, it also adds more membership value.”
