Teller Supervisor


Central Maine FCU is hiring a Teller Supervisor at its Lewiston location.

Reporting to the President/CEO, the Teller Supervisor plans for, directs, and coordinates the teller functions of the credit union. The successful candidate will demonstrate a working knowledge and understanding of credit union procedures, products and services and work as part of a team to accomplish goals of the department and credit union.

Job Duties:

  • Receiving and processing member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders to members; transfer amounts from member accounts as directed.
  • Schedules, trains and monitors the work of other tellers, completes staff performance reviews, coordinates teller activities.
  • Posts transactions to member accounts and maintains member records.
  • Cross-sells credit union services
  • Balances cash drawer, ATM, vault and daily transactions
  • Analyzes and orders the needed cash shipments for the credit union.
  • Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Two to five years of similar or related experience. Must have good communication skills for training other tellers. 10-key calculator and computer keyboard skills. Accurate with numbers and names.

Position is an on site position currently, and work hours rotate, either Monday through Friday 7:15 am to 4:15 or 8:15 am to 5:15pm. Some after hours meetings may be required.
