Midcoast FCU is seeking an experienced eBranch Manager to be responsible for the leadership, engagement, development, and oversight of our eBranch call center services. This individual will lead their team in providing exceptional member service while fostering teamwork within their department and establishing and monitoring service level expectations, department goals, and overall Credit Union goals. This is an in-office position and work is expected to be performed in a credit union branch location.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Create an environment of teamwork and accountability by setting clear expectations, goals and objectives, and providing consistent coaching and development for their team. Utilize technology to monitor member engagements to ensure team is adhering to credit union standards for both security protocols and service excellence. Role model member service excellence by accurately responding to questions, troubleshooting issues, and assisting employees, members, and potential members in understanding and utilizing credit union products and services.
- Supervise and mentor direct reports on performance and production. Ensure employees are educated on the credit union’s expectations and are working together to achieve stated goals and objectives. Coach and encourage employees to deepen member relationships through education on loan/deposit products and/or referrals.
- Manage and document direct reports’ performance and development. Complete monthly 1:1 meetings, address and document performance concerns timely, provide comprehensive annual evaluations timely, and recognize and reward positive behavior. Conduct interviews, make recommendations for new hires, train and oversee training plans for new hires, monitor progress, effectively schedule, assign work, and establish performance expectations and department standards.
Experience:
Three to five years of similar or related experience.
Education:
(1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
