- Support and Underwrite Credit Requests: Prepare written credit memos and financial reviews for new loans, renewals, and modifications within policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct Annual Reviews and Risk Assessments: Lead the review process for commercial relationships over $250,000, providing updated credit evaluations and recommending structural adjustments when appropriate.
- Track Financial and Covenant Compliance: Monitor receipt of interim financial reporting, test covenant adherence, and maintain accurate exception tracking.
- Contribute to Portfolio Oversight: Work collaboratively with lenders and credit leadership to manage credit risk exposure, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
Why You’ll Love It:
- Engage your technical skillset: This role is ideal for credit professionals who want to go deeper into analysis while maintaining member contact.
- Growth with impact: Be part of a high-performing team helping shape the future of commercial lending at a fast-growing credit union.
- Autonomy and support: You’ll have the tools, guidance, and flexibility to do your best analytical work.
- Real-world lending exposure: Build relationships with Maine business owners and see how your credit insights directly influence outcomes.
