IT Manager

TruChoice FCU is hiring an IT Manager at its South Portland location.

Requirements of the IT Manager:
  • Advanced degree in IT or similar field
  • Required five to ten years of similar or related experience including experience in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
  • The IT manager must be organized, thorough, and self-motivated and inspire their staff to exhibit the same
  • Experience leading project management teams

Responsibilities of the IT Manager:
  • Provides leadership and oversight for the IT department staff
  • Responsible for the overall management of Truchoice’s hardware, networks, servers, and communication links, also cyber security
  • Participates in the general management of TruChoice to identify, recommend and implement plans regarding technology or security solutions, future technology needs, and to ensure technologies are used to their fullest extent
  • Exhibits extensive subject matter expertise in applicable regulations, laws, industry standards, department work and purpose
  • Works closely with managers to identify, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions; participates in strategic planning with regard to future technology
  • Manages successful external relationships with vendors, community, SEGs, trade associations, etc.
  • Develops, proposes and coordinates training and provides support to staff on information systems, operating policies, procedures and strategies
