Ending Hunger Patriots Sweepstakes Is Here! Will You Participate?

Football season is almost here, and the Campaign for Ending Hunger Sweepstakes is back to help New England Patriots fans celebrate big! The League is excited to help facilitate this popular fundraiser for the Campaign for Ending Hunger, giving your credit union and your members a chance to see the Patriots play at Gillette Stadium this fall—all while raising money to feed our neighbors across Maine.

From now until September 2, your credit union can collect suggested donations from members in your lobbies for entry into the sweepstakes. One lucky winner will make the most of their Indigenous Peoples’ Day holiday weekend with two 200-level corner seats to see the Patriots play the Texans on Sunday, October 13 at 1:00 pm. Winnings also include tailgating before and after the game (the winner must supply their own beverages and chairs) and roundtrip bus transportation from Cabela’s in Scarborough. The winner and their guest must be 21 years of age or older.

Credit unions can request up to 50 tickets to participate in this fundraiser. Tickets will be mailed to credit unions as requests are received, and if there is availability, additional tickets can be provided. Half of the proceeds raised by participating credit unions will go toward their 2024 Ending Hunger fundraising total.

Because we are coordinating a sweepstakes, a ticket can be provided to a member for a suggested Campaign donation of $10 per ticket; however, no purchase is required. If someone wants to enter the sweepstakes without donating to the Campaign, they must direct their request to the Campaign as explicitly outlined in the official sweepstakes rules. Once the request is received, they will be entered into the sweepstakes.

Complete and incomplete tickets must be returned (together) to the Campaign by September 2, along with a check for the proceeds made out to: Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger.

The winning ticket will be drawn on Monday, September 9 and the credit union that sold the ticket will be notified. Gameday tickets will be distributed electronically. Details containing the transportation information to the game will also be provided directly to the winner.

Please contact Lauren McCallum at lmccallum@mainecul.org if you have questions or need assistance promoting this sweepstakes. We also have outlined several commonly asked questions below.
