The League is busy buttoning up last minute details for Elevate 2024, our Annual Convention which brings credit unions and vendors from across Maine together for a special two-day event. If you haven’t registered to attend Elevate 2024, there’s still time to secure your spot, but you should act soon. Registration closes on April 26.
Are you looking to stay at the Holiday Inn by the Bay for our big event? The League has secured a room block, however, the deadline to reserve accommodations under this block is today (April 12)! Don’t delay in contacting the hotel at 207-775-2311 and provide our Select Group Rate Code: MCL. If there are any available rooms in the block after April 12, the rooms will be released to the general public and rates are subject to change.
Other Educational Events Happening Soon
Credit Union Philosophy and Values—a workshop about the history and social purpose of co-ops and credit unions is taking place at the Credit Union Service Center on April 23 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Space is still available if your credit union is interested in attending. Please visit the League’s website to register. The fee is $175; $150 for credit unions under $50 million in assets.
Participants will leave this training with a greater understanding of just how special credit unions are, and why the Eight Cooperative Principles are at the heart of the movement’s good business practices.
