CUSO Home Lending’s Community Engagement Committee recently collected and donated over 100 pairs of socks for veterans residing at The Cabin in the Woods Community on the Togus VA campus. Managed by the Volunteers of America – Northern New England, the property has one- and two-bedroom cabins, and currently houses 22 homeless veterans.
The Committee was inspired by Remy Pettengill, an Eagle Scout who passed away earlier this year. Remy collected socks and hygiene items for Cabin in the Woods residents.
