Did you know your credit union can attend the 14th Annual Fostering Financial Education in Maine Schools Conference at no cost? This two-day event, taking place April 27 and April 28 at the Schoodic Institute at Acadia National Park, will bring together educators, administrators, and financial education experts from across Maine to strengthen their knowledge about lifelong financial wellness. It also will feature a variety of free financial education resources for students in grades K-12 and college.

The conference will provide credit unions with a unique opportunity to connect with teachers, counselors, and community leaders who share your desire to help young people become financially capable adults. Conference speakers include Sarah Newcomb, Ph.D., Behavioral Economist, and Tim Ranzetta, Co-Founder of Next Gen Personal Finance.

The Fostering Financial Education in Maine Schools Conference will hosted by the Maine Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacya cohort of individuals and organizations who recognize and support the lifetime benefits of personal financial education, including government agencies, financial institutions, corporations, teachers, guidance counselors, school administrators, adult educators, non-profits, parents, and students.
