During the November meeting of the CUNA Small Credit Union Committee, the group provided feedback to CUNA’s market research team on a survey that they will be circulating soon on interchange costs. The group also reviewed a letter that will be distributed to small credit unions later this year that encourages them to plan for the future by implementing products and services that will meet the needs of current and future members. In other news, small credit unions that are interested in attending the 2023 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) can now enter a drawing to win a full scholarship to secure a spot at the premiere advocacy event of the year. To enter, credit unions must upload a self-recorded video onto the CUNA Small Credit Union Community that describes how their credit union has helped a member. Entries must be submitted by January 20, 2023. Videos also will be used to support CUNA’s grassroots advocacy efforts.
