Attending Convention? Don’t Miss the Ending Hunger Silent Auction

The League’s 81st Annual Meeting and Convention is two weeks away. With a great roster of guest speakers and educational sessions on the agenda, this is an event you won’t want to miss.

While you are there, make sure to visit the Campaign for Ending Hunger’s Silent Auction. A wide variety of items have been generously donated by credit unions and local businesses to support Maine’s credit unions’ signature campaign. Bidding will begin at 11:30 AM and conclude at 5:30 PM.

From sports tickets, to home goods, to dining packages, there is treasure for everyone at the auction.  Here’s a sneak peek at a few of the items up for bid:

  • Red Sox Green Monster tickets vs. L.A. Dodgers at 7:10 on July 12
  • 2-lane bowling party at Bayside Bowl in Portland for up to 10 people
  • $250 Visa gift card
  • Maine Brew Bus tour

If you are interested in donating an item to the Campaign for Ending Hunger auction, please email Jen Burke, League Communications & Outreach Manager, at jburke@mainecul.org before May 6. Last year, the Silent Auction raised $6,160 to support the Campaign’s fundraising efforts.  This year, we are hoping to raise even more!
