Worthy Of Recognition? Time To Submit Nominations For League's Annual Awards

2015 marks the 42nd year of the Maine Credit Union League's Annual Awards Program, and the time to nominate individuals to join past winners, a list that reads like a who's who of Maine credit unions, is now.  Nominations for the Maine CU League's Annual Awards are now being accepted.

Now, through April 1, 2015, nominations for any of the Maine CU League's Annual Awards may be submitted.  Nominations should include a brief essay and/or description of the nominee and several reasons why that individual is worthy of recognition.  The League's Awards and Convention Committee will review nominations, and determine the winners.  "Reading the nominations and seeing some of the great accomplishments and contributions that individuals make to their credit union and to Maine's credit unions is really special.  Just being nominated is such an honor, and an acknowledgement of the difference an individual has made," explained Richard Dupuis, Chair of your League's Awards & Convention Committee.

Nominations are now being accepted for the following awards:

Alex Ferguson Award for Outstanding Credit Union Volunteer - Named in honor of the first, full-time President of the League and a Maine CU Pioneer, this award is presented to a Credit Union Volunteer.
