On April 22, University Credit Union (UCU) joined the University of Maine in celebrating the grand opening of The Center for Accessibility and Volunteer Engagement (CAVE). The CAVE at UCU, located in the former UCU building on the UMaine campus, hosts a variety of services for students including a campus food pantry and clothing exchange (the Black Bear Exchange).
In the spirit of celebration during the grand opening, UCU donated $3,100 to the pantry to support students facing food insecurity.
