TruCrew Delivers for the Holidays

Local nonprofits make meaningful contributions to their communities, despite operating on tight budgets. To lend a holiday hand to three deserving organizations in their area, TruChoice FCU’s TruCrew delivered $1,000 checks to My Place Teen Center, the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, and the Center for Grieving Children in Portland. The credit union also collected donations for families and seniors living in the Biddeford area.

My Place Teen Center (MPTC) provides a safe haven for youth by sustaining them with comfort, meals, resources, and hope. TruChoice FCU’s donation will cover five weeks of nightly hot meals. The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland provides temporary care and shelter for stray, abandoned, confiscated, and relinquished animals, and places as many pets as possible into responsible and caring homes. The Center for Grieving Children encourages and supports the safe expression of grief and loss through free-of-charge services for children, teens, young adults, and their family members throughout southern Maine.
