TruChoice FCU is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its 2026 scholarship program, awarding four $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors who will be attending a two- or four-year college.
In addition, TruChoice FCU is proud to continue its sponsorship of the Maine Blue Collar Scholarship Foundation with a $3,000 scholarship to support individuals pursuing careers in the skilled trades.
“We love cheering on the next generation of Mainers as they take their next step—whether they’re heading to college or choosing a hands-on path in the skilled trades,” said Ken Acker, CEO of TruChoice FCU. “These scholarships are one small way we can show up for our members, invest in local talent, and help strengthen the communities we all call home.”
TruChoice FCU’s traditional scholarship applications are due March 31, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be selected in early May.
Graduating high school seniors interested in applying for scholarships should submit an application by March 31 at Trufcu.com. Those interested in the Maine Blue Collar Scholarship Foundation opportunity should apply directly through the Foundation’s website at mainebluecollar.com.
