TruChoice FCU is pleased to announce it is now accepting applications for their scholarship program. The credit union will award three $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors with plans to attend a college, university, or technical school in the fall.
“TruChoice is proud to help local students reach their dreams of higher education,” said Kenneth Acker, CEO at TruChoice FCU. “Reducing the financial burden of post-secondary education allows students to focus on learning new skills that will have a positive impact on our community for decades to follow.”
Interested members must complete the credit union’s application by May 31 and include both a personal essay and a letter of recommendation. A group of employee volunteers will review the applications and select the award recipients. Additional information about TruChoice FCU’s scholarship program can be found on their website.
