TruChoice FCU concluded its season of giving with donations to four local organizations. The donations were made possible through the credit union’s Social Responsibility Fund. Throughout the year, employees make contributions to the fund and then select organizations they would like to support.
During this past holiday season, $500 donations were provided to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, the Center for Grieving Children, My Place Teen Center, and Through These Doors. In addition to these monetary donations, a food drive was held during the month of November to benefit Wayside Food Programs.
