Tracking Your Credit Union’s Volunteer Hours

As hard as it is to believe, April (and hopefully warmer weather) is just around the corner. If you have not already, now is a great chance to log your credit union’s volunteer hours for the month of March through the convenient CUs Share for ME form on our League’s website (you will need to be logged in to view and submit the form).

Reporting your hours is incredibly important to our League efforts—specifically when communicating with the media and/or advocating for our credit unions in Augusta and Washington, D.C. The factual statistics provided to us by your credit union conveys—with proof—the dedication to your communities and the importance of the work done in this industry across the state for those communities, not for profits.

When recording your hours, if you have any questions concerning what counts for volunteerism, please check out our new handy guide on our website. The CUs Share for ME Volunteer Hours Guidelines help us ensure that all recorded hours meet the same standards. Please contact Jake Holmes at jholmes@mainecul.org with any further questions regarding this tracking program.
