Today is the final day to turn in your credit union’s 2025 Campaign for Ending Hunger fundraising dollars—including any in-kind contributions you may have made. After a year of stepping up to serve communities statewide, we cannot wait to see the collective impact our movement has had (and will continue to have) for Mainers facing food insecurity.
Once again, we are hoping to see 100% participation from credit unions across Maine. If your credit union has not yet contributed to the Campaign for 2025, it’s not too late! Checks can be made out to Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign for Ending Hunger and mailed to:

As a friendly reminder, when sending your Ending Hunger funds in—whether it be end-of-year funds, donation pledges, or fundraising proceeds—please be sure to specify what those funds are from in the memo line to aid in the League’s accounting for the Campaign.
Donations can also be made anytime online.
Beyond funding, we are also asking credit unions to report the outcome(s) of any food drives held in 2025. Please share how many pounds of food were collected, where the food was donated, and the date of the donation, and we’ll be happy to include it in your annual total as an in-kind donation.
Today is also the deadline for reporting any 2025 volunteer hours! Totals will be tallied on Monday, January 12 in preparation for our annual luncheon celebration in February.
If you have any questions about 2025 fundraising, please email Jen Burke or Lauren Simonds.
